World renowned physicist Stephen Hawking said “Humans, who are limited by slow biological evolution, could not compete and would be superseded (by artificial intelligence)"  This statement shows an exciting future of artificial intelligence and how it will affect daily lives. However, people cannot get over the fact that AI might take over the world someday. But this thinking is rather far-fetched but still, the technology stirs up quite a bit of controversy and is always a hot topic.


  

So, will artificial intelligence destroy content marketing? Certain members of the content marketing industry are already alarmed by the growth of artificial intelligence. They feel that AI is becoming a threat since the reality of a computer controlled industry is just around the corner. This may mean that human workers might be considered obsolete. The Evolution of AI

Artificial intelligence has been a brainchild of a lot of scientists and developers for a very long time now, and the dream of fully automated systems is always related to the future. In this day and age where technology is fast evolving, you know that it is just a matter of time until everything is automated. Huffington Post’s Jayson DeMers saud that there is a surprising amount of overap place in between artificial intelligence and content marketing.

Some companies like Associated Press are already taking advantage of this new technology with their journalistic robots via their automatically generated posts. As a matter of fact, DeMers suggested that you might have read a lot of AI related stories or posts. In the end, the process all boils down to artificial intelligence being able to process assimilated raw information easily and then turn these into consumable selections over a short period of time.

 

 

Should Content Marketers be Worried?

Now you might question yourself if you really need to worry about this technology, especially since it is growing so fast. The answer is no. According to Jayson DeMers, content marketing most likely will die at the hands of robots, but still it will take a very long time for that to happen. The concept of AI technology driving content marketing is decades away.

While this reality is virtually inevitable and this might happen soon, this does not mean that you will just set aside your knowledge and expertise and succumb to robots. Until that day comes, all content marketers need to do for now is do what they do best, which is craft your own marketing campaigns and build relations between different brands and customers that matter. Content marketing is here to stay and it will most likely be that way for years to come. While AI technology is evolving quickly, that does not mean that you will just end your career.
